During swim lessons, we noticed there was no active lifeguard... We only noticed after a panic watching my child struggle to stay afloat and not being noticed, he was luckily close enough to the edge to grab the wall as the instructor was pre occupied with another student. It is very odd they stuff the parents upstairs. And the locker rooms are locked like a corrections center. The YMCA is setup better, and is much more attentive than this pool, the lifeguard is over looking the entire pool, the whole time.

The service counter person was awesome. Answered my many questions. Was able to connect our membership thru our health insurance. I was there at 4:15 am 3-13-26.

Such a good pool. Not too cold, easy walk down, water slide, lanes, deep end, good equipment, good lifeguards, quality locker room. Even has upper viewing area for families, in case you want to stay dry. Double size gym, with full separation curtain. Held many dodgeball tournaments here with two courts playing non-stop. Workout gym seems nice. Dedicated pottery studio is stunning. Warm, inviting, clean, and producing artwork at a steady pace. Staff has community centered charm up the wazzooh. They will help you find an activity, your lost cellphone, or even your lost grandma. Parking is easy and well positioned. There is a drop-off lane near the front door. Large parking lots on either side of buildings, one closer to the fabulous Marshall Park playground.

4 stars for nice machines -2 stars for use of space. I'd give your customer service 2 stars as well. I did not feel welcomed at all as a guest. It was VERY cramped. Machines stacked on top of eachother, like a Nautilus catalog threw up and everything was just squeezed in where it fit.. Not really anywhere to do power cleans. The one cage they have is...sad at best and too low to OH press in, if your on the outside you'd be in the path of travel of others. I think this is probably perfect for the slow and gentle population that comes here most often ~65+. I would not recommend this gym for anyone that is self conscious or lifts weights seriously. There's simply not enough space here to move without becoming a liability for someone or yourself.

Signed up my son for his first swimming class. He's on his second session and loves it. The instructors are great. It's fast and easy, both for parents and kids. Would highly recommend it. The viewing area is great. Only wish they had some kind of hair dryers in the locker rooms for the cold and rainy days.
